Join the River City Society for Historic Preservation for a lecture on Frank Lloyd Wright in Japan Tuesday, July 10th at 7:00 PM in the Robert E. McCoy Architectural Interpretive Center.
Professor Kevin Nute is an award-winning author of Frank Lloyd Wright and Japan: The Role of Traditional Japanese Art and Architecture in the Work of Frank Lloyd Wright, and will speak on this topic. He is a Professor of Architecture at University of Oregon, a Wright scholar, and has lived and worked in Japan for our years.

Join us for an afternoon that blends gardening and landscape design with historical significance. On June 23rd at 1:00 PM, Nellie Gardner, the Horticulturist for the Darwin Martin House & Graycliff Frank Lloyd Wright sites near Buffalo, NY, will speak on the $1 million dollar restoration taking place to restore the grounds of both properties. The event will be held at the last remaining Frank Lloyd Wright hotel in existence, the Historic Park Inn Hotel in Mason City, Iowa. Tickets are $12.00 for the event or $22.00 with a tour of the historic hotel.
